Many thanks for visiting Tom's World Walk team page - it may just be me walking around the world but a whole host of people have helped get this journey on the road - so it very much feels like a team effort.
This World Walk - a little stroll of 16,300 odd miles! - is drumming up money for three great charities - the Alzheimer's Society, The Puzzle Centre and Medical Detection Dogs.
You'll see the fundraising target on the right - £10,000 for each cause, so £30,000 in total, which is roughly the amount of kilometres I hope to clock up on my World Walk. So, viewed like that, just £1 a km would do it! Whatever you can afford, however tiny, your donation can really help us smash this goal.
Remember: Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never share them with anyone or send you unwanted emails.
Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. They'll make sure Gift Aid (an additional 25%) is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer, too. That means more money goes to the charity, faster, with JustGiving.
(The URL tagline for this team page, still has the name - newsolesplease - the original name of the walk, when first mooted. I liked it, but nobody else did! So Tom's World Walk is now used everywhere else).
