Pearl & Dean have recruited 21 fools to take on a challenge of a lifetime in order to raise money for children in Africa who without the help of our two charities would not have a future.
We have teamed up with The Sustainability Institute in South Africa who provide education and hope for children affected by alcoholism in this area.
We have also teamed up with HOPEHIV who offer support to children in Africa who have been orphaned by HIV.
The Triathlon Alpe D'Huez is described as "Probably one of the most beautiful, but definitely one of the hardest" in the triathlon calendafr.For all of the team taking part The Triathlon Alpe D'Huez provides a real challenge - check out the individual pages, but many people before signing up to this were either not sporty at all, couldn't swim, had bnever ridden a bike before.
The team are training hard and supporting each other for the 7 months leading up to the challenge and one of the things that keeps us motivated is knowing that we are raising money for children, who otherwise might be facing a very bleak future.
