Manchester fun run for Syria!

Team photo
Rethink Rebuild Society, in partnership with Syria Relief, runs school projects in the areas of Syria most affected by violent conflict. In these areas, children have not been able to go to school for many years because of the war and are missing out on their basic education.
One school, Iqraa School at Al-Sahara village in northern Syria, was established in 2014 and since then it has been generously funded by the Syrian Community of Manchester and their friends.
The school has accommodated 400 pupils aged 6 to 15 including displaced and orphan children in addition to 21 members of staff. All types of support have been provided for these children which include education, psychological and medical support.

We are now approaching our third academic year, which has only been made possible by your generosity. We now ask again for your help to raise £40,000, which is the running cost of the school for the next academic year.
