We've set up this page in memory of our simply wonderful mum who died unexpectedly on 18th September.
She was an amazing mother, at the centre of our lives and our children's lives. She was a loving wife to our father who died in 1997.
Mum was also at the heart of our extended family - a devoted sister, niece, auntie, cousin.
She had a huge circle of friends both in the UK and abroad - and we know she was a great support to many of them over the years.
Mum was also an exceptional classroom teacher in state schools throughout Hertfordshire. Her last job before retirement was Head of Modern Languages at Simon Balle in Hertford. All three of us were taught GCSE and/or A Level German by mum - so we all know what a great teacher she was.
We are fundraising in her memory for two charities:
Save the Children - mum was on the local committee and did a lot of fundraising for them.
Bowel Disease Research Foundation - who support peer-reviewed research into bowel-related illnesses.
