In March 2012 an invitation was extended to all members of Saga's Facilities Management Team to participate in the 3 Peaks 24hr Challenge.
A total of 9 team members accepted the challenge, all of whom are now in training for the event that takes place on the 23 June 2012:

The challenge is to reach the summit of the 3 highest peaks in England - (Scafell Pike, 978 metres), Scotland (Ben Nevis, 1344 metres,Britain's highest peak) and Wales (Snowdon, 1085 metres) - within a 24hr timeframe.
Although set up as a team building event we also agreed to raise money for our chosen charity Help for Heroes. The event is currently being funded personally by each participant and the team is now looking for sponsorship to raise money for Help For Heroes.
