In 2017, S & C Thermofluids is celebrating its 30th year of business. To mark the occasion, a team of 13 staff members, family and friends will take part in the Corporate Challenge of the Vitality Bath Half Marathon on 12th March 2017. The company first competed in 2007 and achieved a fantastic 15th place out of the 34 teams entered, as well as raising £3,900 for charity.
Ten years on, new participants are joined by some of the original runners - including the Directors of S & C Thermofluids (Tony Smith), Stobart Division (Matthew Stobart) and Fluxion Ltd (Caroline Young). And this time each of these Directors are joined by their daughters!
Each team member has chosen a charity to support while tackling this feat, and hope that they will raise some much-needed cash for these excellent causes while championing the company's achievement. They would very much appreciate it if you felt you could donate to any one of the following funds. Your support would be gratefully received - it would be wonderful if we could match the target set 10 years ago, both in race position and donations.
We also have two runners who have chosen a new charity called Yoga4Autism - they've set up a Crowdfunding page but we can't add this to the team. You can donate to support Flo and Kirsty's run at https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/flo-smith
And if you happen to be in Bath on the day of the race, be sure to look out for the team and cheer them on!
Remember: Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never share them with anyone or send you unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. They'll make sure Gift Aid (an additional 25%) is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer, too. That means more money goes to the charity, faster, with JustGiving.
