East Herts Sands is fundraising to provide one of our local hospitals, North Middlesex Hospital, with a new Cuddle Cot®.
This incredibly useful piece of equipment will enable North Middlesex Hospital to provide bespoke bedside bereavement care. Parents and their families will be able to spend the time they need with their baby, making very precious memories. The cold cot will also facilitate easy transfer from room to room and or mortuary in a discreet way, offering dignity to the baby and their parents

All the funds raised will be designated for the purpose of East Herts Sands North Middlesex Hospital Cuddle Cot® Project. Once this project is fully funded and its £1800.00 target reached, any excess will be spent where the need is greatest, helping Sands to continue to deliver its vital services to support anyone affected by the death of a baby, to improve the bereavement care received by parents and families, and to promote research to reduce the number of babies dying.
