Thanks for visiting The University of Sheffield Squash Club team fundraising page. We’re running the Sheffield Half Marathon to raise money for The Children's Hospital Charity. This year we're aiming to surpass £1000!
Some of us walk past the Sheffield Children's Hospital everyday and it's easy to miss the scale of work undertaken! The Children's Hospital Charity funds areas of care not covered on the NHS to the hospital. They provide specialist life saving equipment, invest £250,000 in child illness research yearly, are continually making the Sheffield Children's Hospital a more ambient environment while increasing the range of medical care available to children.
The hospital has helped children globally and regularly families travel nationwide for their children to receive specialist healthcare! They operate a 24hr Child A&E Service and are one of four children's hospitals in the UK!
