A team of 26 staff at Stowmarket High School are cycling overnight from Stowmarket to Dunwich to raise money for the East Anglian Air Ambulance. We will set off at midnight on June 23rd and we hope to be on the beach in Dunwich at dawn. Many of us have barely ridden a bike since childhood. In some cases this was several years ago!
Our charity, East Anglian Air Ambulance, was chosen by the family and friends of Lily Webster, a year 11 student who died suddenly in January this year. Many of us have been inspired by the generous response of the local community and the efforts of our students to raise money for this charity . The bike ride has been organised so that the staff at the school can contribute to this effort.
