Thanks for visiting my page. I am raising money for both "British Heart Foundation" and "Diabetes Research and Wellness Foundation".
As many of you will know these two charities are very close to my heart, after losing Mum in August last year.
Therefore, I am looking to raise as much money as I possibly can to help the charities to continue the great work they do to help people that suffer from either Diabetes or a Heart condition.
Slightly ironic to be doing this in Bumble's memory as she wasn't overly keen on me doing similar events in the past, such as ToughGuy (twice) but she did come and watch... occasionally.
So, the event; you may have heard of the Spartan series, the one I'm doing, Spartan Beast is placed as the toughest on offer:
16 Miles of mud, water, hills, slopes, ditches and 75+ obstacles within that involving fire, barbed wire, climbing, jumping and possibly some crying. Oh, they also have goliath sized men at certain obstacles that have a sole aim to stop you in your tracks using a large hitting device (think the game 'Duel' on the TV programme Gladiators).
The event is 9th November 2013, so should be nice and cold.

Due to some silly regulations on JustGiving I am unable to donate to two charities on one page, so had to create two pages and join them together, hence the team page.
My ideal aim is to achieve a similar amount of donations for both charities but should you have a preference then please donate as you wish or just donate to both :)
