A few brave ladies from Sussex Women's Rugby will be running the Brighton Half Marathon on the 25th February. They will be raising money for the two charities that the club is supporting this year:
Rockinghorse is a local children's charity based in Brighton. They raise money for life-saving and cutting edge medical equiptment. They support the Trevor Mann Baby Unit at the Royal Sussex County Hospital and the Special Baby Care Unit at the Princess Royal Hospital at Haywards Heath.
Try for Change was set up by England Rugby and O2. They use the power of rugby as a force for good to improve the lives of disadvantaged people in England and across the world. Bringing together rugby's core values of teamwork, respect, enjoyment, discpline and sportsmanship, they tackle a number of significant social challanges around education attainment, social inclusions, unemployment, mental and physical wellbeing, personal development and community growth.
We would like to thank you for any donations to help us support these two tremendous charities. Big or small, we appreciate them all!
