A few years ago we rode from Margate to Maidstone and raised a lot of money for the Heart of Kent Hospice and in memory of Kalani's grandad who was cared for there in his last weeks.
This year it's the BHF we are supporting and we have another special person we want to dedicate this to, Kalani's favourite teacher, Mr Lewis, who suddenly passed away at Easter weekend from a heart attack. A real shock as he was so young and seemingly in good health. Mr Lewis sadly left behind a wife and two young daughters. He will be greatly missed and Kalani will definitely miss the fun he created in class, the personality and inspiration of this man and the special connection he had with him. A tragic loss.
