On the 13th July this year, our beautiful baby girl Margot was born. Due to rare complications during labour, she was severely deprived of oxygen at birth and sadly passed away in our arms two days later. We had never imagined this could happen after a straight-forward pregnancy and had been looking forward to spending the summer as a family of three.
Many of our family and friends offered us support and asked of how they could be of any further help. At the time, it was hard to even know what was good for us. Without even asking for it, we were extremely well supported by a number of charities linked with the Liverpool Women's Hospital. We were lucky that Margot was with us for two days, and in that time, the charities helped us prepare for withdrawing her life support, provided mementos and practical guidance, and they are now supporting us with counselling. We are forever grateful for this support as we believe it has made this terrible moment a little less difficult.
In response to all of you asking how you could be of any help, we would hugely appreciate your support by being aware of what the listed charities offer. And if you can donate to any of the listed charities below, you will be helping many other bereaved parents going through a heart-breaking time.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the support and love many of you have already shown in the last few weeks.
Much love,
Charlotte & Sai
