The Danny Green Fund supports children under the age of 18 who are suffering from brain tumours and Posterior Fossa Syndrome in particular. PFS causes various neurological disabilities as the result of brain tumour surgery. The symptoms of PFS can include weakness in one side of the body, poor balance, facial paralysis, incontinence, Mutism and in severe cases the child may be unable to drink or eat. But these symptoms can be overcome with support. We provide a grant for the provision of a piece of equipment such as a wheelchair or special needs buggy or physiotherapy, hydrotherapy or horse riding therapy to help rehabilitation and to assist recovery. The funds provided by this event will be used to provide vital therapies to enable the children we support to walk unaided and to regain their independence. Danny’s charity is changing lives and making a difference.Your sponsorship will help to assure the success of this marathon Kayaking Event.
