EMEA IBCM Titans of Finance is a one-of-a-kind competition in aid of our charity of the year, the NSPCC. This event gives you the chance to donate towards MDs of your choice presenting a fire drill in front of the IBCM population, all proceeds will go to the charity.
In a throwback to their former days as interns, the event will see 4 MDs pitch a hypothetical transaction in front of an X-factor style panel. But this is a fire drill with a twist – there will be no end-of-summer review, but instead the population of EMEA IBCM will vote to decide who trades above their peers, who is all P and no L and most importantly who puts the E in EBITDA. The winner will be crowned CS Titan of Finance 2016 and their name will be etched into Investment Banking history forever.
The best part is that, you, the IBCM population, get to choose which MDs will participate in this banking extravaganza. All IBCM MDs are up for selection and, in the spirit of capitalism, you can put your money behind whoever you want to see under the bright lights of the large auditorium. Does your MD's strategic rationale change the world as we know it? Does your senior have a tendency to add more value than can be possibly quantified? Or, do you just want payback for every time you refreshed comps the night before a meeting only to see it cancelled? It doesn’t matter what your reasons are, the power is now in your hands.
On this page you can donate towards your MD of choice being put in the hot seat! Once donations are closed, the 4 MDs with the most money in support of them will present a case study in the large auditorium. But there is a catch – 2 days before the event, the MDs at the top of the leaderboard will be allowed to match the donation to buy themselves out, passing the honour to the next in line. The donation cut-off date is the second week of July so now is the time to choose who you want to participate in this event of epic proportions!
