Tough mudder for Holly
This september myself and others will all be taking part in Tough Mudder, A 10/12 mile obstacle course complete with ice cold ponds, mud puddles, 5Meter+ high walls and many more including a 10,000v electroshock at the final hurdle. And we will complete the course, even if we have to crawl to the finish line.
We are hoping to raise as much as possible for a young princess called Holly Needham.
Holly was born with Cerebral Palsy, and because of this it has restricted Holly doing what other children her age are doing. But two year ago, Holly' parents found a therapy able of helping her to become stronger, and give her more co-ordination.
The downfall to this is, NHS dont fund the therapy. And Holly's family has to raise a minimum of £5000 a year to enable them to travel to scotland in order to give Holly a better a life style.
Since starting the ABR therapy Holly has been able to hold her own head up, it has motivated her tiny muscles to become stronger so she can now hold on to toys, and she now has better co ordination. Holly is still a long way off being able to do normal things. But the more we raise, the closer she is getting to reaching the goal.
