June, 2014, George Saw and Ailsa Northwood will be walking the UK.
We have chosen to raise money for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, which is an extraordinary charity, providing world leading research, treatment and care for over 50,000 cancer patients each year. The Royal Marsden is very close to both of our hearts indeed.
Our expedition takes us from John O'Groats in the very north of Scotland, all the way down to Land's End, in the south-west of England. This is roughly a 900 mile trek, which we aim to complete next summer in under 7 weeks. Thats basically walking a marathon every single day, carrying all your equipment and camping for over six weeks. It certainly won't be easy.
