Over the weekend of 25/26th July, the Tata Walky Talky team (Carl Smith, Richard Craig-McFeely, Tim Landon and myself) will participate in Oxfam’s Trailwalker Challenge.
The event requires us to walk 100km non-stop across the South Downs which will take us around 24 hours. The Gurkhas organize the event on behalf of Oxfam and it is based on one of their selection tests. Their record is under 10 hours.
This year funds will be used to help people affected by Nepal earthquakes that killed over 8,700 people and left almost 800,000 with either damaged or completely destroyed houses. This is a disaster very close to the heart of every Gurkha.
We are aiming to raise well over £1500 through sponsorship so we really need your help.
