Our team is going to walk 100km in less than 30 hours.
Why are we going to do that?
The funds we raise will go to Oxfam and the Gurkha Welfare Trust.
I am sure that we all know about Oxfam, but a bit about the Gurkha Welfare Trust:
This is a charity that dedicates itself to ensuring Ghurka veterans, their widows and their wider communites are able to live with dignity in Neptal. They provide financial aid, medical aid and community aid.
They provide pensions for them, keep them warm in the winter, provide healthcare, clean water for their communities and much more.
Why is it important for us to aid the Ghurkas?

We've joined together to raise money for both charities and to challenge ourselves! Our goal is to reach £1,400.00. Your donation can really help us smash this goal, no donation is too small. Skipping one latte, packing one lunch for work instead of eating out, would mean the world to us, Oxfam and the Gurka Welfare Trust.
A bit about us?
Our team consists of Nina Carlsen-Hormozi, Lukas Pusvaskis, Rubin Hormozi, Arian Hormozi, Raminta Kamasilovaite and Chireh Hormozi.
Nina, Lukas, Rubin and Arian will be the walkers.
Raminta and Chireh will be supporting throughout, meeting the walkers at checkpoints with supplies.
We are all practically family. We work together, have fun together and walk together. Naturally, we loved the idea of walking 100km together. Already we each enjoyed hikes and walks, but none of us had tried to walk such a large distance!
During our training we have explored some beautiful places, climbed some of Scafell Pike, braved the Samaria Gorge in Crete, challenged the white cliffs of Dover and even gone exploring in our own gardens finding things we did not know were just 1km away from us. It has been quite an adventure and we have not even done the main event yet!
