Tidelines Book Festival aims to cater for all age groups and many different interests, including fiction and non-fiction. In parallel with the festival we run a dedicated schools programme, bringing authors and their books to children and young people. We are the only independent Book Festival in North Ayrshire completely run and organised by a group of volunteers. This year we’re sailing into uncharted waters, leaving the safe haven of the Harbour Arts Centre for the wide horizon of the virtual world. We’re taking the Festival online in September with a great line up of authors. As a registered charity we rely on the generous support of our audiences and funders and donations from individuals - this year more than ever.
