Ulverston Inshore Rescue was formed in 2002 after the death by drowning of a father and son in Morecambe Bay. Since then we have established a Rescue Station in South Ulverston by kind permission of GlaxoSmithKline. We have two boats,two vehicles, two quads ( for beach searches) and a hovercraft.
