About Vision Rehabilitation Services of GA (VRS)
Since 1983, we have been providing vision rehabilitation which should be considered when one’s vision cannot be improved with regular glasses, medicine or surgery. This rehabilitation is a continuum of care for those with significant vision loss and is NOT covered by insurance. We provide clients with essential tools for achievement and success in school, at home and in the community. This includes low-vision evaluations, daily living skills guidance, diabetes management, safe travel instruction, vision-loss transitioning, & access technology training.
We develop individual plans for clients based on their personal needs and goals. This includes access to job-readiness classes that prepare them for meaningful careers. We also offer transition classes to help young adults successfully make the move from home and high school to the next phase of their lives.
