The Water Tap Foundation is an NGO. It works in remote villages of the world e.g Zambia, where women and children have to walk up to 5Km to collect clean drinking water in buckets and carry it home on their heads. Water borne disease is prevalent and the charity provides educational input on hygiene, in addition to digging boreholes. It enables children to go to school and the villagers to grow crops to feed themselves.
