About us
WODIN responds to the disproportionate impact faced by our target groups, created by systemic discrimination alongside common barriers such as language, low income low/no understanding of Information Technology/digital resources. We bridge the socio-economic gap between Black African immigrant women, their families; communities in Merseyside; and the rest of society by simplifying information technology and digital resources; hands on digital inclusion training/tools; and events, bespoke advice, guidance, support, and advocacy services that applies learning and meets related needs. This includes one-to-one advice and mentoring on personal finances, improved mental health, return to work events, welfare checks to women to meet subsistence needs.
