Thank you to all for the brilliant support, we raised £4,000! a great help. The builders are in, damage is worse than we thought, so this fundraising is a great help. Walls need to stripped of plaster which we did not expect, they will be relined with material which will help insulate the building. The toilet facilities will be improved, again we needed to rebuld the walls, so we have taken this opportunity to install a disabled toilet. All doors have been replaced with wider, fire proof doors. We are building a better exposure room as the walls needed replacing anyway. We will recieve some help from the local authority for some of the refurb and further help with better flood defences, we already invested in this but the floods were so bad this time our defences were overwhelmed once the water reached over 3 feet.
