Story
Ian P Sissons passed away recently, and I will be attending the funeral next Tuesday. I have been in contact with Ian's close family and it is their request that instead of flowers, donations are made in Ian's memory to Cancer Research. We have therefore agreed that this Just Giving page will allow the many of those that knew him to pay their respects in this way. It will also allow those around the world to recognise the passing of Ian, and who cannot attend the UK funeral.

Now the fundraising has ended, we would like to thank all of you that donated. We will be arranging a cheque presentation with a representative of Cancer Research UK next week, and photos will be posted through the usual channels. Best Wishes to you all. Geremy Britton

9 years agoWe are just £10.00 off our target of £500.00 I will be printing all the donations and comments from all of you to be given to Ian's close family at the funeral tomorrow. It would be fantastic if anyone is able to donate an extra few pounds to help reach our target this evening!

When starting Virtual Aerospace 6 years ago Ian offered us hospitality at his home and was a fountain of knowledge never asking for any money. We are so grateful he will be missed.

I was lucky enough to meet and Fly with Ian and like everyone else, i am deeply saddened to hear about his passing. So sorry for Pauline, 'the bride' and Ian's whole family.

Geremy Britton is the Executive Assistant at MyCockpit.org and Head of GLB Flight Products, Flight Simulator Parts Retailer. Ian was a business colleague, but overall a true friend. I have known Ian for almost 10 years and he has been an inspiration to us all.
