Story
A year ago Lotty was given the worse news that due to a large Sarcoma in her ankle she would have to have her leg amputated from below the knee. Two weeks later the operation was completed at the Royal Orthopedic hospital in Stanmore. This wa followed by seven months of intensive chemo at the Teenage Cancer Ward in Addenbrooks Hospital Cambridge. Lotty is now back at work and due to her strength and character is walking on a prosthetic leg.
The leg is very serviceable when worn with trousers, but at nineteen years old Lotty deserves a better prospect in the future.
We have found a new company who make bespoke prosthetics matching skin tones and appearance. It is our dream to raise the funds to purchase the limbs ( two required) one for all weather use and one for general use .

Lotty and her work colleagues family and friends last year raised over £5000 for the teenage cancer trust and the C9 ward Addenbrooks hospital all of which helped her through such a difficult time. It is now time for Lotty to achieve something for herself.

As Mum to Lotty I am so proud of the way she has been so strong for herself and all the rest of the family. We have always fundraised for charities over the years. With open gardens and craft selling, raising funds for the St Nicholas hospice, Urangutans , Teennage Cancer Trust
