We are trying to raise enough money to buy seizure monitors for Toby, Corey & Izzy. To have these monitors set up in the children's bedrooms would mean the parents can try and get much needed rest without getting up all through the night at every noise. The monitors will alert the parents when a seizure starts.

With Batten Disease seizures are only controlled by medication for so long, so at any given time a seizure can happen.

The monitors will also allow the children more independence without someone needing to be with them every second of the day. (They can be watched on the monitors via the families phones/ipads)

Batten disease takes their eye sight, speech, motor skills, short term memory, they will be tube fed, in wheel chairs and Batten disease will steal their lives. There is no treatment and no cure. So every bit of independence we can give them is everything.
