I was diagnosed with breast cancer in December 2015. It was a huge shock - i didn't think it would happen to me. It happens to other people. I feel as though everything about me being a woman has been attacked.

I quickly learned that sitting around crying wasn't going get me anywhere. I have everything to live for, my wonderful family, my gorgeous children, and the light of my life, my granddaughter Luanna.

I've had the surgery, and dealt with it. I'm having the chemo - and dealing with it. I've sat with the cold caps on, and they worked for 7 weeks. But, no more.

And now my hair is coming out massively. SO - in order for some good to come out of this, it will be shaved off - in PUBLIC - in the Railway Pub, Handforth, on Friday 1st April at 7.30pm. AND NO - THIS IS NOT AN APRIL FOOL!
