Story
There are 45,000 people living with dementia in Wales. Some of the biggest fears of having dementia are of being unable to communicate one's wishes, losing a sense of yourself and not being in control of your life. This can lead to isolation, frustration and agitation. DUETcare aims to improve the wellbeing of people with dementia by providing innovative training to families, carers and professionals that develops a connection between the person giving the care and the one receiving the care.

I am a registered nurse & have worked with people with dementia for 20 yrs as a specialist in the Memory Teams of Bath & Cardiff & Care Home Manager. DUETcare has been endorsed by Prof. Tony Bayer, Director, Cardiff Memory Team and RESEC Group (Research into Spec Elderly Care)
