Story
We've just got back from our first supply visit with coats, blankets, flooring & furniture to the refugee camp in Calais known as the Jungle. We're deeply moved by the desperate situation of the gentle, dignified people we met. We'll return with supplies on September 17th. We've already booked and will fund travel expenses ourselves. To be able to take specific supplies which we discovered are most needed, we're appealing for financial contributions as we'll struggle to bear the cost ourselves.

9 years agoWe cannot express our feelings. We only wanted £1000 to but supplies for Calais to be delivered by us. Thanks to the generosity and hard work of our friends we have now sent a lorry load of material donations to Greece, have secured a warehouse in Calais to receive - continued...

We are a couple living in Kent. We decided to go to Calais whilst watching footage of the Jungle on the internet. Standing in the Jungle we vowed to keep coming as long as the crisis lasted. Now we need a collective effort to support the refugees in Calais and the rest of Europe.
