Tara and little 'T'
Tara was a 19yr old gorgeous, placid mare who tragically lost her life on Tuesday 12th July due to a vicious attack where she and her sister 'little T' were repeatedly stabbed.
Tara and 'little T' were attacked in their field on Friday 8th July sometime through the night and were discovered by their owners on Saturday morning hiding in their field shelter terrified and in shock.
The wounds that were inflicted to both of the horses were horrific, you will find them on facebook (Haltwhistle matters) where you can follow the story.
Tara's poor little body eventually couldn't fight any longer and her little sister bless her sadly lost her fight a couple of days ago.
What this has done to the family and the community is devastating.
The whole community clubbed together to raise money for a reward to catch these idiots before they do this again.
