    Story

We are trying to help bring a small amount of comfort to some of the thousands of refugees flooding into Europe with few or no belongings or hope. Warm woollen socks will at least mean that their feet can be cosy. We are planning to not only take the socks to the refugee camp at Dunkirk, but hope to take food supplies, and offer foot treatments and simple home remedies to boost immunity and health. We hope to take as much as we can fit into our car to enable us to be as effective possible

On our return I feel that talking about our visit, and the plight of the people living in such squalor, and sharing the individual stories, is so important. We plan to return again, and to to keep working here at home to raise money and awareness. Please keep sharing 5 days left!

We were overcome with so many questions during, and after our work at Grande Synthe, wanting answers to the whole complex issue of war, refugees and aid. Handing out supplies is needed, of course, and the money was well spent, but connection with folks was also very important,

We're back...I've been hesitating to write because I'm limited to 280 characters per update...until someone pointed out I could write more than one!! So many thanks to all who donated so generously, enabling us to buy supplies for the refugees. Gas, jogging bottoms, heaters, shoe
