Stand Up And Be Counted - September 2009 · 26 September 2009

All people, everywhere should live free from slavery. Yet 50 million people – one in every 150 – is a victim of modern-day slavery. Anti-Slavery International exists to bring freedom from slavery, for everyone, everywhere. We can’t make that happen without you.

Story

Ladies & Gentlemen

Along with ten other comedy virgins, I am currently undergoing training to become a comedian for one special night. I am doing this in the hope that you will consider making a modest donation to a very important cause.

The first ever Stand Up And Be Counted will take place at London's Blackall Studios on September 26th, and all profits will go to Anti-Slavery International.

Anti-Slavery International is the world’s oldest international human rights organisation and the only charity in the UK to work exclusively against slavery and related abuses. The X Foundation aims to raise public awareness of this issue and to contribute to the fight against slavery in all its forms.

So please sponsor me now!

Thank you.
