In June 2009, we are going to undertake the biggest challenge of our lives that leads from the comfort and safety of our favorite armchairs to the wild glory of the Roof of Africa! At 5.895 m (19.710 feet) high, its the highest mountain in Africa. Its name in Swahili breaks down into two parts: Kilima (Swahili for "hill, little mountain") and Njaro, the House of God, the Mountain of Greatness.
Whilst it's not easy to climb, it is achievable!
As part of our effort, we would like to raise money for The Helping the Burmese Delta charity. You can find out more about the charity at: http://www.helpingtheburmesedelta.org
Please sponsor our charity. The money will help in providing food, books for children, rebuilding schools and homes for the Burmese.
P.S. Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Helping The Burmese Delta gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor us now!
Thank you!
