Aim

To complete the challenge of cycling the length of on a tandem whilst raising money and awareness for The Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths (FSID).

What are we doing?

Husband and wife duo Tim and Naomi Steere tandeming 10,000 miles from the world’s most southerly town across the driest desert, climbing to the highest capital city, before descending through the Amazon basin to complete the challenge on the Caribbean coast within six months.

Why are we cycling 10,000 miles?

This trip has been a long term ambition of Tim and Naomi’s.  Naomi lost a brother to cot death and as yet the cause of sudden infant death is unknown.  Much more funding and research is needed to establish the reasons this happens and to eradicate it in the future.  At present over 300 babies die each year in the and this figure needs to be reduced.
