Pete's 100&60 Tour · 27 February 2013

We are the largest UK charity that supports people with dyslexia & their families, teachers & employers. We aim to change society by breaking through the barriers and enabling everyone with dyslexia to be acknowledged, accepted and empowered.

Story

To mark the 100th edition of the Tour de France and my own 60th birthday I am aiming to ride 10 stages of the 2013 Tour de France the day before the pro peloton covers the same route in the actual race. Although I have completed some cycling challenges in the past (see gallery), this will definitely be the toughest.

I will be raising funds for Afasic and the British Dyslexia Association. I have chosen to support those charities because we have a grandson who has been affected by speech and language difficulties and associated problems with learning to read and write. I am inviting anyone who knows me, and anyone else who thinks it is a worthy cause, to sponsor my 100&60 Tour by giving to Afasic and/or the British Dyslexia Association. You can donate to British Dyslexia on this page or to Afasic on my other page at www.justgiving.com/100and60Tour.
