In 100 Hours.

The team of 7 men and 2 women will set off from John O’Groats on 7th September 2012. They are undertaking this titanic task to raise money for the Child Bereavement Charity, because HRH The Duke of Cambridge is Patron of both the Child Bereavement Charity and Mountain Rescue (England and Wales).

It is a huge physical and logistical challenge, and whilst we are aware of previous non-stop cycle rides and relays we are not aware of any previous attempts that have taken in the 11,000 ‘ of mountain summits.

During the ascents of Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon we hope to be accompanied by and to be able to lead other supporters and Patrons of The Child Bereavement Charity.

Get involved!
Join us on the mountains. Anyone is welcome to join us on one of the mountain sections. If you are interested please register with us by contacting events@childbreavement.org.uk

All funds raised throughout the event are for the Child Bereavement Charity which is the UK’s leading national organisation that supports families and educate professionals both when a baby or child of any age dies or is dying, or when a child is facing bereavement.

When a baby or child dies, or a child is bereaved, many of those affected are unable to access good quality support which meets their individual needs. The Child Bereavement Charity believes all families should have the support they need to rebuild their lives when a child grieves or when a child dies, their aim is to make sure they do.

For more information about the charity please visit www.childbereavement.org.uk

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
