Mission Accomplished over 12-13 September the team of skiers from the Yorkshire Dales Cross Country Ski Club http://www.ydccsc.org.uk covered a distance of 100km. Their  route took them from the Humber, over the Yorkshire Wolds to Flamborough Head.

They undertook this challenge to raise funds for Help Our Wounded http://www.facebook.com/HelpOurWounded, which is supporting the Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund http://www.rmctf.org.uk/

On the first day of the challenge we opted for Classic Cross Country rollerskies then Skating Skies for the second day and being wind assisted made good time, in fact at one stage Chris managed to trigger an electronic “Reduce your speed now” sign! Quite impressive considering it was also raining at the time. We are also pleased to report all was completed without breaking anything or anyone, in fact no falls were reported.
