Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As we get older is amazing how many times cancer touches our lives and the lives of of nearest and dearest. 1 in 3 of of will develop some form of cancer in their lifetime. Every two minutes some one in the UK is diagnosed with cancer and every 4 minutes some one dies from cancer.

We wanted to do our bit and support Cancer research by embarking on a 100 mile bike ride

Cancer Research UK is the world's leading charity dedicated to beating cancer through research. Their groundbreaking work has saved millions of lives.

  • Half of people diagnosed with cancer now survive their disease for more than five years.
  • The average ten-year cancer survival rate has doubled over the last 30 years.
  • More than seven out of ten children with cancer are now successfully treated compared with fewer than 3 in 10 in the 1960s.

On the 27th June our motley crew will be attempting the 100mile to Skegness on pushbikes. Our entrepid gang contains no experienced cyclists and fitness levels varying from pie saleman to butchers dog. The fitness programme and training is gruesome but we're not giving up as we're dedicated to the task.

We hope you can donate generously to this cause and help us reach our total
