##Latest News - This page now represents entirely the money collected for Forget Me Not - The money to send Jordan t o Paris is now with his parents who are looking to book a trip near Christmas this year####

Hello

The Forget Me Not Trust aims to build a hospice for children with life-limiting and life threatening illnesses. The strain on families who have to look after such children 24 hours a day, seven days a week is immense and the hospice will help meet the needs of the whole family by providing care and support. This is our small effort to support them in doing this.

On May 16th, 2009, at Spring Hall athletics track in Halifax, a group of runners will run relays of the 400m track from 7am to 7pm. To complete 100 miles, the runners will need to complete in excess of 403 laps. Teams will run in relay within groups for an hour and then hand on to the next group. We ask you to sponsor us to help raise funds for the hospice. To get more information on the trust, check out this link.

There is an additional recipient for money raised here. We are also looking to send Jordan Bailey, an 8 year old boy from Leeds suffering from cerebral palsy, to Eurodisney. The plan is to raise an extra £1000 so that he and his parents can go to Paris to meet Mickey and Donald. The money will be collected offline. All online donations are for the Forget Me Not Trust.

As an added incentive to all sponsors, there is a chance to win a prize (the nature of which will be confirmed shortly). We have 12 hours to complete the 100 miles and thats a pretty decent pace.

Please advise us of who you are sponsoring in your comment line.

Thank you for reading this, and for any donations that you may be able to provide.

Mike & Sally Wilson

## Update - May 20 - Event was a resounding success and 120 people ran 109.25 miles between them ##

## NOTE - The £1000 raised for Jordan has been gathered through various events - quizzes, dress-down days, competitions and collections by Jordan's family and friends. All online pledges are for Forget Me Not and all standard off line pledges are also for the Forget Me Not Trust. Thanks for your support #####

## Stop Press - Event expansion - In order to supplement this event and boost funds for the Forget Me Not Trust, Andy Huyton is running the Jane Tomlinson race on June 21st and is asking for sponsors once again for this marvellous cause. Please back Andy in his efforts. If you are sponsoring Andy, please make that known in the comments###
