Between 28th March and 5th July 2015 I will be trying everything from Sumo Wrestling to Quidditch in an attempt to cram participating 100 sporting activities during a 100 day period.

As someone whose fallen out of the habit of regular exercise I wanted to set myself a challenge to aim for this year. Setting this up to raise money for a worthy cause made perfect sense.

Stroke Association where the obvious choice of partner for my challenge. My Nan suffered a stroke when I was young. She was lucky enough to survive but I saw how the effects changed her day-to-day life forever. Communication was very difficult and movement could be a struggle.

Stroke Association do amazing work researching the causes, symptoms and effects of strokes. They aim to make stroke a preventable and treatable disease whilst hugely improving the quality of life of people affected by stroke. Please read more at http://www.stroke.org.uk/home
