We asked 100 disadvantaged women whether they thought companies should be doing more to support their local community, 98% said yes. No surprises there perhaps? So this project has asked them what exactly they thought firms could do to help and aims to implement the changes necessary to transform this statistic.

100 Women is a unique new integenerational project  designed to engage professionally with companies and individuals whilst supporting local women, empowering them and giving them a chance to have their voices heard. On 8th March 2011 people all over the world will celebrate the 100th anniversary of International Women’s Day and as part of that we’ll have captured the stories of 100 women whose lives the project has changed.

100 Women is also an ethnographic research project capturing the stories of women whose lives are changed by the initiative – most of these will be service users at the project but we do also hope to impact a few volunteers along the way too.
