Story

On October 11th this year, we will be joining many other WW2 reenactors in a full kit march from Littlegate House in Berkshire, to Aldbourne village in Wiltshire to raise funds for the HELP FOR HEROES charity.

This 7 mile march will retrace the route marched by the 506 Parachute Infantry Regiment (PIR), 101st Airborne, US Army, ( Band of Brothers) prior to the Normandy D-Day, in 1944.

We will be in full WW2 US Airborne kit, with weapons.

During WW2 Littlecote House, near Hungerford was the Company HQ of part of the US 101st Airborne Division, and the troopers trained at the small  village of Aldbourne.
