The RAF Benevolent Fund is the RAF's leading welfare charity. We have been there for all members of the RAF Family for over 100 years. In 2024 we assisted more than 64,000 members of the RAF Family. Support us in 2026 and help us reach even more members of the RAF Family.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On the 13th September 2010 members of 101 Squadron will swap the VC10 for their bikes and cycle the length of Great Britain in aid of the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund. Instead of completing the distance in just over 2 hours by VC10 it will take 9 days!

The RAFBF are the RAF's leading welfare charity providing practical, financial and, in some cases, emotional support to all members of the RAF family, from childhood through to old age. They help with issues from childcare and relationship difficulties to injury and disability and from financial hardship and debt to illness and bereavement. Their strap line is simple - Once RAF Always RAFBF.
