Story

Page extended until 21st Sept 2010 as I continue my Lands End to John O'Groats to Lands End unsupported off road walk the next stage ends at Edale, for the start of the Pennine Way.

Sponsorship for the 1.66 mile sea swim and 1.66 mile run an endurance challenge to test tough stalwarts!

The 1066SwimRun 2010 Sunday 11th July .Results:1st Luiz Camargo de Miranga, 2nd Szintia Szanto, 3rd James Larkin, Richard Ciecierski, James Quarmby, Andy Bailey, Alfred Reed, Philip Curran, David Caffrey, Nick Bridger, Miles Coote, Andy Mason, Roy Beeley, Darren Hall, Nicholas Neale, Alice Reed, Julie Langdon, Alison Eaton, Sophie Etheridge, Claire Reed, Alex Balfour, Eveline Powell, Chloe Bocking, Steve Thacker, Norman Oliver, Martin Parry, Joanna Brookes, John Reynolds. Also participating were Maxine Simmonds, Anna Richardson, Olivia and Andy Watts who swam the outward leg, still an excellent feat. well done. Thanks to Hastings District Canoe Club for excellent support.

Tough swimming conditions made it a real endurance challenge this year.
