"You're doing it again?"         YES!

"Are you mad?"                      YES!

I know, yes I am doing it again, yes I am clearly insane and yes I know I said 'never again' but a girl's allowed to change her mind, isn't she?!

It's still the biggest, toughest endurance challenge in the UK, something which less than 100 people in the world have completed it. I really feel lucky to have been selected again as one of only a few runners to take on running 10 marathons in 10 days, in May 2015. Every day over 10 consecutive days I will run the Brathay Windermere Marathon, in the Lake District, yes that's right, not only is it 10 marathons in 10 days, it's the same marathon for each of the 10 days. 

A combination of extreme physical and mental endurance.

The Brathay 10 in 10 is now in its 9th year and it's an honour to be invited back to be part of such an amazing journey for such a worthwhile charity. Of course the fundraising part is also a big part of the challenge and ultimately what this event is all about.

Brathay Trust help some of the most vulnerable, abused and disengaged to make a successful transition from adolescence to meaningful adult life. Operating from inner city and rural locations across the UK, they currently work with over 6000 young people each year. Specialist programmes target particular groups of young people who require specific support to improve their life chances: children in care, young people at risk of entering the criminal justice system and those involved in gangs or who are sexually exploited.
