The Seriously Injured Players Fund (formerly the Benevolent Fund) provides relief for people who have been seriously injured whilst playing rugby league.

Story

<p>I'm taking part in the Edinburgh Marathon on 22nd May, and 5 weeks later will complete the Isle of Man Parish Walk, an 85 mile walk, covered in less than 24 hours.</p> <p>The total mileage for these events is 111 miles.</p> <p>I'm raising funds for Try Assist, the Rugby Football League's Benevolent fund, which helps people whose lives have been changed by injury playing Rugby League.</p> <p>You can read more about the challenge <a title="here" href="http://02a9eaf.netsolhost.com/home.html">here</a></p> <p>And you can follow progress at my twitter page (@panopticandy)</p> <p>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
