Story
You may recall I recently did a coastal 10k race. I surprised myself in both my performance and also how much I raised for charity. I did it in 1 hour 12 minutes and came 30th out of 155 runners. I only bought a pair of running shoes and decided to do it 3 weeks before race day, and hardly did any training. My objective was simply not to come last.
I managed to raise £771 which is short of the £1000 target. So there is only one option; to do another race and ask for more sponsorship! This time I aim to beat my previous position. Like last time I have done next to no training and the race is on Saturday 26 May. I also go on a long haul business trip the same evening which can’t be good! I expect to seize up by the time I get to the other end!
So, if you didn’t sponsor me last time, now is your chance!
If you did sponsor me before, thank-you. Of course feel free to sponsor me again if you like!
