Story
In the summer of 2010 I decided I wanted to go cycling, really go cycling, spending a year or more on the bike. So I quit my job, loaded up my bike and bought a plane ticket to South America. Starting in Buenos Aires I will cycle to Ushuaia and then up to Peru where I will pick up the transamazonica and cycle across the Amazon to Belem. From Belem I will follow the coast back to Buenos Aires. I expect the trip will take around 18 months and be 17,000 miles. It offers pretty much everything, deserts, mountains and a lot of jungle to cross.
